The Future of Farming: Through Brexit and Beyond…

We are holding a series of agricultural seminars in North & East Yorkshire for farmers and rural businesses. These complimentary seminars are designed to provide useful advice regarding the future of farming: through and post-Brexit and to provide guidance on how you can protect yourself through specialist insurance, in particular, with our Rural Protect policy.

We welcome two guest speakers to the events; Gordon Whitford, HSBC Regional Agricultural Director for Northern England & Northern Ireland, who will be discussing the future of farming post-Brexit and how the agricultural industry will evolve through and beyond Brexit.

The second speaker is Robert Medcalf, Sales & Development Manager of HB Underwriting, a specialist rural insurance provider. Robert will discuss specifically, the Rural Protect Policy, talking about how it can support and protect farming businesses no matter their size or activities. The policy offers protection in the event legal action is brought against you or your business, covers you for action brought against you by any UK regulator (as well as providing cover for HSE’s Fee for Intervention) and offers free access to and advice from leading law firm rradar.

The seminars will take place from 6:30pm at the following venues:

With Brexit now upon us, we want to inform our rural community about what the future holds and how they can protect themselves and their businesses. We hope that farmers will leave the seminars feeling enthusiastic and informed about the future of farming and how they can look to both grow and protect their farming businesses.”
