McClarrons support the R.A.B.I’s Annual Golf Day

The R.A.B.I is hosting its third annual Golf Day at Kirkbymoorside on Wednesday 21st September. Working closely with R.A.B.I, we would be delighted if you could help us support this important charity by joining us on the day.

The event is being held to help raise money for The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (R.A.B.I) – a  grant-making welfare charity which helps farming people in financial need.

R.A.B.I helps working farmers, farm workers and their families, who rely on farming as their main source of income. In 2015, £1.9 million was paid out in grants to around 1,340 individuals and families. As well as this, welfare officers made more than 1,800 visits and helped people claim £390k in state benefits. The R.A.B.I spend more money in North Yorkshire than any other county and events like this are a vital part of fundraising for the farmers in our area.

If you would like to organise a team, these can be any combination of four players at £150.00 per team, including a bacon sandwich on arrival and lunch after play.  It will be a shot-gun start at 11.30 am, so players are invited to arrive from 10.30 am.

If you would like to enter a team or would be interested in sponsoring the event in some way, please get in touch with Emily Andrews at emily.andrews@networkportfolio.co.uk/mcclarroninsurance.com or by phoning 01653 697055.

As a charity event, please feel free to extend this invite to anybody you feel would be interested.
