Last year, McClarrons Affinity partner, Redline247, took us along on their annual European Supercar Tour which glided through breath-taking Scandinavia. This year, Redline247 look ahead to another year of the tour, with new locations, breath taking routes, and magnificent hotels and cuisine.
If you followed his daily blog last year, you’ll recall that Robin Nathan, Art and Private Client Account Executive at McClarrons, was astonished by the whole experience, from start to finish. The tour began in Denmark where like-minded participants cruised through Denmark, to Norway, Sweden, back down to Denmark, and on to the Netherlands before, finally – and rather dejectedly in Robin’s case – home. Apparently he wasn’t quite ready for it to end!
Since his return, Robin fondly recalls the highlights of each day and the diverse routes they took, from scenic Lillehammer (home of the 1994 Winter Olympics), across Norway’s historic fjords, along the remarkable Atlantic Ocean Road, to the bustling hubbub at the heart of Amsterdam, even with all its confusing bicycle customs.
Following on from the triumph of the 2017 tour, Redline247 have been working hard to ensure the extraordinary European Supercar Tour continues into 2018.
This year, the tour will travel through six countries; Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Romania, Croatia, and Hungary. The route will feature the much-lauded Transfăgărășan in Romania, regarded as one of the greatest roads in the world with its sweeping S-bends, sharp descents, and spellbinding vistas – the kind of experience automobile dreams are made of. This year’s tour will take place from 9th to 15th September and is open to McClarrons Affinity clients.
