Top 10 Most Expensive Cars Right Now

As Robin Nathan, Art & Private Client Account Executive, continues his supercar tour across Europe with Redline247, we take a look at the 10 most expensive cars in the world right now.

Combining luxury, performance and unique builds, McClarrons look at 10 of the most expensive supercars in the world:

10. Koenigsegg Regera – £1.5 million
The Swedish firm say the Regera is a luxury Megacar and will get you to 190mph in a respectable 10.9 seconds. Not only does the car have a 5.0 litre twin-turbo V8 but also has an electric motor that adds additional horsepower.

9. Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta – £1.7 million
With 499 buyers this limited edition Ferrari was created as a replacement for the Enzo and can accelerate to 124mph in under 7 seconds. In August 2017, it was revealed the last ever LaFerrari Aperta would be built and auctioned off for charity.

8. McLaren P1 GTR – £2 million
The McLaren P1 GTR was lovingly assembled by no less than 61 engineers, and emerged only after the 375th model of its road-legal predecessor was completed. And it’s only available to those who own the McLaren P1 – so all in all, not a small investment.

7. Bugatti Chiron – £2 million
Named after racing driver Louis Chiron, this French supercar replaces the Bugatti Veyron with a lower, wider and faster spec. With a top speed of 261mph that has been electrically limited for safety, we may never know what this supercar is truly capable of until tyre technology progresses.

6. Pagani Huayra BC – £2.2 million
The BC is for the late Benny Caiola who was a super car enthusiast, close personal friend and the first customer of Horacio Pagani. With a top speed of 238 mph, this car will see you get from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds.

5. Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio – £2.3 million
Conceived in memory of the late Sergio Pininfarina, this concept car from Ferrari is fully carbon, making it 10% lighter in body than the same car made in aluminium. Its virtual windscreen is effective up to speeds just over 34 mph – so not much use at its top speed of 199 mph.

4. Aston Martin Valkyrie – £2.3 million
A collaboration between Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing, the Aston Martin Valkyrie is designed to be a user-friendly super car. Only 150 road cars are penned in for production. The leaked interior design revealed a collection of screens as opposed to gauges.

3. Lamborghini Veneno Roadster – £2.6 million
Another road-legal addition to the rich-list, the Veneno Roadster can reach speeds of 221mph thanks to its 6.5-litre engine. Only nine were built to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary.

2. Lykan HyperSport – £2.6 million
The Lykan HyperSport features in the Fast and Furious franchise, specifically Fast and Furious 7. While it’s the first car to be designed and produced in the Arab States, engineers working on the car hailed from Lebanon, France and Italy.

1. McLaren P1 LM – £2.8 million
Recently setting the record for the fastest street legal car, this British limited-production hybrid sports car also takes the top spot on price. All 375 models made were sold a month after their release.
