This year Christian communication network Premier are co-ordinating an event called the Love Britain and Ireland Awards.
The awards aim to raise the profile and recognise outstanding groups and projects that put Christian faith and love into action within local communities.
There are 7 categories to nominate a project or organisation for:
- The Love Britain and Ireland Award for Community Building
- The Love Britain and Ireland Award for work with the Disadvantaged
- The Love Britain and Ireland Award for Inclusion
- The Love Britain and Ireland Award for work with Older People
- The Love Britain and Ireland Award for Start up projects
- The Love Britain and Ireland Award for Social Justice
- The Love Britain and Ireland Award for Youth and Children’s Work
The winning organisation from each category will receive an award, certificate, £500 cash prize and a media package from Premier worth £5000 to further promote their mission and work.
